JGI Launches Server to Assess Metagenomic
Analysis Tools; Plans Version for 454 Data

The server, called Fidelity of Analysis of Metagenomic Samples, or FAMeS, stems from a project that JGI initiated to guide its own metagenomic data analysis efforts.
