ASCO Study Shows UConn’s Virtual Cell
Can Model Complications of Cancer Therapy

At the recent American Society of Clinical Oncology meeting, a University of Connecticut researcher presented results from a Virtual Cell-based simulation of mucositis, which is injury to mucosal membranes that results from high-dose cancer therapy.
